Coffee and Conversation - Ages 18+

Join us for coffee and conversation in this monthly event! Each month we will have different guest speakers who will discuss a variety of topics ranging from health and wellness to social and emotional. Bring your questions and a friend and we will supply the coffee!

This month we are hosting Noel Aldrich PhD of Nutrition Proportion, who will be talking about nutrition and fueling the aging body.

HIIT the Barre - Ages 13+

This 1-hour intense interval class is a full-body workout that focuses on cardio, endurance, and strength training - working your body from the inside out, strengthening your heart and lungs. Every workout will focus on strength, core and balance using a variety of equipment; including weights and resistance bands.

HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Workout, so get ready to kick it up a notch and HIIT the Barre!

Family Yoga - Ages 13+

Come move your body together and learn all about the flow of a yoga class and how yoga helps build strong bodies, brains and emotions! Each class we will learn about different parts of the physical yoga practice and the ‘why’ behind yoga in a fun and interactive way that is fun for the whole family!

Registration is free for adults accompanying youth registrants.

Personal Safety and Self-Defense - Ages 13+

Learn to protect yourself and feel empowered! Join us for a 2-hour course where you will gain a basic understanding of self-defense moves. You will learn to apply simple and effective counteractions to an opponent. You will also learn the four components of personal safety: Awareness, Avoidance, Assertion, and Action. This course will combine practice in personal safety techniques along with self -defense actions.

This course is approved and offered by multiple school districts in Minnesota.

Private Karate Lessons - All Ages

In this 1-on-1 setting, participants of all ages will learn confidence, self-defense, and self-discipline in fun, non-contact classes. Previous experience or not, this is a great program for everyone! Shotokan Karate is a traditional form of Japanese karate that’s taught worldwide. Tom Meagher, Public school's teacher, is a 4th degree black and holds international certification with many years of experience teaching karate. 

Lessons come in packages of four 45-minute private lessons.

Senior Fit - 18+

Senior Fit is a program for adults and seniors set to music who want to remain active by engaging in low impact exercise to manage weight, control disease, improve strength, mobility and stability. Hand-held weights, elastic bands/tubing and balls are used for resistance training which can take place either in a chair and/or standing. This light-paced exercise led by a professional trainer is an opportunity to join a friendly, life loving group of individuals and blow off some steam and maintain youth together!
