Breathe for Life: Meditation, Mindfulness & More - Ages 13+

A new class to ignite and inspire personal wellness and connect with your whole self.  Through breathwork, guided meditation, and mindfulness techniques we will practice ways to be with ourselves and each other in the present moment.  Join us in exploring Breathe for Life.

 

Dates: Sept 3 - Oct 8

Time: Tuesdays - 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Coffee and Conversation - Ages 18+

Join us for coffee and conversation in this monthly event! Each month we will have different guest speakers who will discuss a variety of topics ranging from health and wellness to social and emotional. Bring your questions and a friend and we will supply the coffee!

Hypertrophy Training - Ages 15+

Work with certified Personal Trainer Trevor to meet your "gains" goals! Growing your muscle size takes a certain type of training and workout. In this class you will learn how to strength train specifically for muscle growth/hypertrophy!

Time: Mondays - 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Pickleball Ladder League - Ages 18+

Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It's easy for beginners of all ages to learn and can be played singles or doubles. Games can develop into a quick, fast-paced competition for players of all skill levels to enjoy. Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Courts begin set up at 5:30 for warm-up.

 

Ladder play consists of matches for 5 players at a similar skill level. Each player plays with every other player in the match. Each week the final scores are used to determine the groups for the following week. The better you do, the more challenging the competition gets!

Train to Finish a 5k - Ages 12+

Beginner level.  This program will start at a level that everyone can participate in!  Work with a running coach to train at YOUR level.  Come ready to run or walk, and by the end of the session, you will feel confident and excited to finish a 5k!

 

Dates: Sept 7 - Oct 26 (Zombie 5k)

Time: Saturdays - 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Member Fitness Orientation - Ages 13+

Open to those new to the YMCA or those wanting to learn more about our facility. Our staff will take participants through Wellness Floor guidelines, how to use the equipment, as well as how to use the YMCA in a healthy fitness routine. You will leave with tools to help you set health and wellness goals along with the knowledge of the YMCA facility and programs to help you reach those goals!

 

1st Saturday of the Month - 10:00 a.m.

2nd Tuesday of the Month - 5:30 p.m.

3rd Thursday of the Month - 9:00 a.m.
