I have always been fascinated by health and wellness. I played hockey and golf as a kid and got into distance running in college. Fitness became even more important to me when my daughter was born. I wanted to set a healthy example for her but needed to change my own perspective to exercising to be strong not just physically, but mentally as well. I coach high school girls' golf and specialize in Golf Fitness. My training focuses on mobility and stability to help prevent injuries and improve range of motion while incorporating strength training movements we do in our daily lives. Nutrition Coaching works to establish a balance between working towards your goals and having flexibility to enjoy foods you love.

ISSA and NCCPT Certified Personal Trainer
Joshua Bowens PT

My journey to personal training began with a lifelong love of sports and fitness, particularly lifting, but it truly became a passion after I was diagnosed with end-stage renal disease. Facing years on dialysis before receiving a kidney transplant gave me a new perspective on health and a second chance at life. Now, I want to help others experience the transformation and joy of achieving their health goals.

As a former elementary teacher and someone who spent over a decade in higher education, earning my doctorate along the way, I bring a unique blend of teaching experience and personal insight into my training approach. I believe that fitness and nutrition go hand in hand, and my love for cooking (my kids think I should be on a cooking show!) fuels my enthusiasm for helping clients find sustainable, balanced lifestyles.

Whether you're starting fresh or aiming to reach new milestones, I’m here to help you every step of the way—teaching, guiding, and celebrating your success!

Lori is a military wife and mother of twins. While stationed with her family in Texas, she was inspired by a community of motivating fitness instructors and active moms to become a group fitness instructor and has now been teaching for over 3 years. Lori wants to help others realize that while being active is important for your physical health, it is also the best medicine for our overall mental well-being. There is nothing that exercise cannot improve! Some of Lori's favorite forms of exercise are indoor cycling, weightlifting, and running with loud music!

I believe that fitness is about more than physical strength and appearance, it's about feeling capable, self-assured, and invigorated both during workouts and when facing life's challenges. Our bodies are incredible tools that can be refined and utilized to embrace all aspects of life. Our fitness journeys are an opportunity to recognize that setback are not failures, but rather steppingstones toward our future achievements. My goal is to help others recognize the value that fitness can provide in all aspects of life and to help guide them through their fitness journeys.

Personal Training is more than just a profession; it's a calling that allows me to positively impact the lives of others. My journey in fitness began with my passion for mixed martial arts (MMA), where I learned the value of discipline, perseverance, and the importance of physical health. Through intense workout and rigorous training, I discovered how transformative fitness could be, not just physically but mentally and emotionally as well. My experience in MMA has equipped me with a unique set of skills and insights that I bring into my personal training sessions. The intensity of my workouts is designed to challenge clients, pushing them beyond their perceived limits and helping them achieve goals they once thought unattainable. I hope to make a lasting impact on people's well-being and help them realize their full potential.

Daniel's favorite quote is:

"There are no shortcuts, work hard, be patient, consistent and never give up."
