Middle School Activity Nights - Grades: 6-8 (FREE)
Middle School Activity Night held monthly for grades 6-8 to participate in! The Y will be closed to members and reserved for the event. Kids will have supervised access to facilities including the pool, gym, and Community Room. Activities will be themed and will vary by month, but there will be sports, games, food, crafts, and more!

Homework Help - Grades 6-12 (FREE)
Looking for a spot to get help with your assignments and hang out with friends? Head to the Community Room at the Northfield Area Family YMCA for an open space for teens of all ages to play games, work on group projects with fellow students, and get homework help from experienced tutors! This program will run for the entirety of the school year, and offers academic support for all subjects and assignments. Snacks will also be provided!
Every Wednesday (beginning October 5th)

No registration required - students can drop in any time!

Leaders Club - Grades 6-12 (FREE)
Make a difference in your local community by joining YMCA Leaders Club, a service-oriented and personal development program that teaches teens qualities of leadership and teamwork, helping them to become leaders in the classroom and beyond. Leaders Club is a yearlong program for middle and high school teens, where extensive training and volunteer opportunities will be provided that support community programs and services. In addition to volunteer experience, Leaders Club includes weekly team-building meetings and social events, where teens will make new friends, learn new skills, and come and simply be themselves, growing into their full potential.
Details, dates, and registration will launch Spring 2023.

High School Intramural Leagues - Grades 9-12 (FREE)
Looking for a chance to form a team, stay active, and compete in a structured, friendly environment? Find some friends and sign up for volleyball and basketball intramural leagues! League will be supervised by YMCA staff and will feature a referee and scores table for each game. Sportsmanship and fairness are expected of all participants! League will be open for any high school student to join, but registration as a team will be required prior to start of league play.
November - December: Volleyball | Minimum of seven players per team required to register.
League Play: Thursdays, 5-8 PM. November 17th - December 15th.
February - March: Basketball | Full-Court play. Minimum of six players per team required to register. Teams must be co-ed.
League Play: Thursday nights. February 2nd - March 23rd.
April - May: 3-on-3 Basketball | Half-Court play. Prize for the winning team! Minimum of three players per team required to register - co-ed teams are highly encouraged!
League Play: Thursday Nights, 5:30-7:30PM. April 13th - May 18th.
Students: Head to Mr. Whitney's Room (H106) to grab your forms and get signed up! Return all forms to H106 or to Member Services at the Northfield Area Family YMCA Front Desk, or email your completed virtual form to izzy@northfieldymca.org!
