    • Wee/Preschool
      (6 and under)
      From non-competitive sports to creative art and music, Wee programs nurture the potential in every child.
    • Elementary
      (K – 5th grade)
      Kids explore new interests and build confidence through fun activities like team sports and Open Gym.
    • Middle & High School
      (6th – 12th grade)
      Tweens and Teens find belonging and gain new skills with programs like Boxing and Youth in Government.
    • Adult & Family
      (All ages)
      Families come to the Y to play and be active together, live healthier, and make memories for a lifetime!
  • Healthy Living
    • Wellness CenterOur Wellness Floor features cardio and strength machines, free weights, an indoor walking/running track and a group exercise studio.
    • Child WatchSupervised care for your children while other members of the family participate in Y programs and services.
    • Group / Water ExerciseJoin people just like you trying to live a little bit healthier. Try Zumba, Yoga or Kettlebells and find wellness and a supportive community!
    • SwimmingSwimming is an important life skill, great exercise and a challenging sport. For guaranteed family fun, just add water!
    • Personal Training &
      Nutrition
      Work one-on-one with a trainer to maximize your results. Let our qualified fitness staff or registered dietitian nutritionist support you.
    • Business/Employee WellnessPartnering with your company to promote healthy lifestyles for your employees and their families.
    • Adult & FamilyCome and play together as a family at the Y. We’ll have games, scavenger hunts, special family challenges and more!
    • Special EventsThroughout the year we host fun-filled community events like Healthy Kids Day, Y Kids Tri and the Jingle Bell Run. Come join us!
  • Social Responsibility
    • Military Outreach InitiativesIn partnership with the Armed Services YMCA and the Department of Defense, the Y offers FREE memberships to support eligible Military families.
    • Y Scholarship DriveThe generosity of others is at the core of the Y’s existence as a nonprofit. Your donations help us make the Y available to everyone.
    • VolunteersVoluntary contributions of time and treasure support and lead the Y’s critical work, we we can reach more people and do more good.
    • State AllianceThe Minnesota Alliance of YMCAs pioneers healthier communities by promoting public policy on issues like safe routes to school, access to healthy food and standards for healthy eating and physical exercise.
    • Youth InitiativeThe U.S. Department of the Interior has launched a Youth Initiative to help bridge the disconnect between young people and the great outdoors. The Y is proud to participate in this exciting movement.
    • TogetherhoodYMCA’s Signature Program for Social Responsibility provides Y members with fun, convenient and rewarding ways to give back and support their neighbors.
  • Camps
    • Wee Camp
      (Preschool)
      Monday-Thursday morning camp that allows kids to explore the wonders of nature, make arts and crafts, play with friends, and exercise with lots of dancing, games and giggles. Located at the Carleton Arboretum.
    • Prairie & Wood Camp
      (Entering Grades K-5)
      Weekly morning camp giving kids a chance to explore Carleton’s Arboretum as they learn, play, and create. Located at the Carleton Arboretum.
    • Y Navigator Camp
      (Entering Grades K-3)
      Choose from 3, 4 or 5 days a week – one week or all summer long. Join us for days filled with creativity, laughter, friendship and belonging.
    • Tween Extreme Camp
      (Entering Grades 4-7)
      Now expanded to include 7th Grade campers! 3, 4 or 5 days a week options, with fun just for our older campers!
    • Counselor In Training
      (Entering Grades 8-10)
      Counselors-in-Training or “CITs” are participants entering grades 8 – 10 or up to age 15 who are looking for leadership experience and will learn the specific skills needed for working with kids and co-workers through hands-on experiences in our camps.
    • Overnight Camp Pepin
      (2-12th grade)
      Hosted by the Red Wing YMCA, traditional, specialty and trail and trips camps.
  • Building a New Y
