Y School Release Days Craze (or School’s Out Days)
(grades K-3rd)

School Break FUN! Fall hikes, snow sledding, spring water fights, we’ll fill the day with loads of laughter and fun (depending on the season). School Release Days are a perfect time for your student to rejuvenate their academic juices with a fun-filled break! Costs includes all costs to include field trip, admission, 2 snacks a day and all program supplies. Program is small, by design so join us for some YMCA fun!

Each day will be themed and have a fantastic & fun trip!

Spring Break Days-March 29-April 5

29-Spring Build-A-Garden/Library-This will be an exciting day of building your own flower gardens along with learning about gardening. Oh yeah! We will be making some mini garden scarecrows and friends to ensure your garden is complete!

30-Faribault Pool-Swimming all day. Need we say more!

31-Easter Egg Decorating Day-Come make Easter baskets along with dyeing real eggs! And not only will we be coloring eggs but also decorating them! Spring is in full swing when an egg hunt happens!

1-Minnesota Zoo-Dolphins, bird shows, shark and fish feeding along with spending time on outside trails looking at grizzly bears and bison! You DO NOT wan to miss this day of fun!

2-Spring Cooking-We will be cooking throughout the day and creating various seasonal snacks which will sure to please. And you get to take your recipes home to reproduce the excitement of the day.

5-Northfield Park Day-It will be nice out(we hope!) and together we will enjoy thawed fields and woods by visiting City Hall Park and Big Woods State Park! Days of swings and soccer are back and we will kick it off with loads of games in the park!

Members: $25/day   Nonmembers: $30/day
