Togetherhood project: Winter Walk: Gift Wrapping Service in Support of HCI
Togetherhood: A Member-led Community Service Program
Togetherhood invites Northfield Y members to activate their social responsibility by participating in the Y’s cause to strengthen community. Togetherhood provides Y members with fun, convenient and rewarding ways to give back and support their neighbors.
Togetherhood is the YMCA’s Signature Program for Social Responsibility. People across the United States are getting together in their own communities to make a difference. This program invites Y members to lead and participate in volunteer service projects that benefit the community where they live.
The program is run through individual YMCA’s as a partnership between a committee of members and a Y Staff Adviser. It is designed to be a simple, fun and rewarding way for members to identify ways that they can give back and support their neighbors through their own ideas, skills and energy, and the network of the Y.
We are proud to introduce our first Togetherhead Committee. From left to right is Kathryn Lozada, Breanna Wheeler, Janine Nelson, Carie Faust, Meggan Rozga, Sophia Nelson, Toui Mohlke, Suzzanne Fox, Ben Mohlke (not shown)
The Northfield Area Family YMCA is proud to pledge our commitment to Togetherhood. We are excited to present opportunities for Y members to make our community even stronger.
