Grant Recipients
Ron Griffith Young Leaders Fund
It is our goal to award funding to a minimum of four young leaders each year, which would cover costs associated with training, leadership development, and unique educational and networking opportunities. Examples of funding include participation in the Rising Stars Seminar, the Technology of Participation training or an intensive Spanish course.
Grants are awarded by the Executive Director of the YMCA upon the recommendation of the Fund’s Grant Committee. Grants recipients will be expected to submit goals and anticipated benefits from all grant-funded opportunities as well as submit a report upon completion of the grant-supported activity.
The Ron Griffith Young Leaders Fund, initiated by Just Food: Northfield Community Co-op, Inc., reflects a strong community partnership with the Northfield Area Family YMCA and is supported by a number of local organizations and individuals committed to the development of young leaders in the Northfield community, sustainable agriculture, and environmental initiatives.
