Wellness Facility Hours
Greetings! Based on an extensive evaluation of the times and days members have been using our fitness center and Child Watch program – we are making adjustments to our hours. We shaved off some of those early early hours and added time later in the days (Monday – Thursday as well as Saturday).
New hours (effective December 14, 2009):
Health & Wellness fitness center:
Mon-Fri 7:30 – 11:00 am
Mon-Thur 4:30-8:00 pm
Sat 7:00-2:00 pm
Sun 3:00-6:00 pm
Child Watch program:
Mon-Fri 8:30-11:00 am
Mon-Thur 5:00-7:30 pm
Sat 8:00-1:00 pm
Sun 3:00-6:00 pm
Member feedback also indicated strong support of our Group Exercise programs so we’ll be adding classes and programs in December and through 2010 to include adding Fitness Yoga!
Special YMCA Early Riser Wellness Center Usage Pass: 2-4 members have consistently been using the facility before 7:30 am Monday-Friday. Special YMCA Usage Passes can be obtained from Glen, Lyn or myself which will allow continued use during those early early mornings before the Wellness Center staff arrive. This is open to ONLY MEMBERS and a pass must be obtained BEFORE you use the center. Northfield Retirement Center staff will be looking for these special passes.
Note: No one can use the facility at other times outside of our posted hours (per our insurance and YMCA policy).
As always, as membership grows we’ll continue to add fitness center and Child Watch hours as well as expand our ever growing Group Exercise programs.
The YMCA is a nonprofit community-based organization committed to supporting good health for families and kids and youth development and family strengthening programs. No one is turned away because of inability to pay. Thank you for your continued support!
NOTE:
Facility center hours will expand as membership grows. These hours tend to be peak hours of a fitness facility used by family members.
We also partner with several health insurance companies (Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medica, UCare and HealthPartners) to provide fitness rewards. Participate at the YMCA Health and Wellness Center and you could be reimbursed $20 (per month) for your membership (check your individual carrier for details).
