Working with a Personal Trainer can get you on the right track – we want to support you in making lifestyle changes.

The five classic components of fitness are muscular strength, muscular endurance, body composition, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility.

Due to the more interpersonal contact between a trainer and a client versus a general gym setting, a trainer is more readily able to provide motivation and support to an individual in an exercise program, in addition to providing proper technical instruction. A trainer can keep records of their clients’ exercise sessions to help monitor progress, and may also advise their clients on how to modify their lifestyle outside of the gym to improve their fitness.

Personal Training fees:

Initial 1 hour session: $40 Members / $45 Community Members

½ hour session:  $25 Members / $30 Community Members
1 hour session:  $40 Mebers / $45 Community Members

Package of 3 / 1 hour sessions: $110 Members / $125 Community Members

Package of 3 / 1/2 hour sessions: $60 Members / $80 Community Members

The Northfield YMCA is also offering bring a friend Personal Training. In this type of training both individuals will be trained by our great personal trainers. These sessions will only be offered in one hour segments:  $25 per person Members / $30 per person Community Members
