Day Camp

YMCA Day Camp - Offered four full weeks this Summer:

• Explore outdoors, build a fire, nature hikes, animal & bug search, exercise and tons of games.
• Team building, playing with friends, arts and crafts
• Imagination and adventure opportunities abound in the great outdoors.

This program is a full week program at the Cannon River Wilderness Park (Hwy 3/ 20) Hours are 9:30 am and 3:30 pm with before and after care available at the Northfield National Guard Armory at no additional fee. 

Cannon River Wilderness Park - the PERFECT location for a safe, quality Day Camp.  Just a glimpse of amenities - the Cannon River, hiking trails, safe campfire rings, a large pavilion, and a HUGE green-grass play area.  Add trained staff, a outstanding nature curriculum and you’ve got the ingredients for a phenomenal summer!  

Parents, prepare yourself, they’ll come home singing camp songs and filled with details of the adventures of each day.    

Before and After care is available (if needed) at the Northfield National Guard Armory (6:30 -8:45 am and 3:30-6:00 pm).  Transportation to camp will be provided and leaves 8:45 am and returns 3:30 pm.  No additional charge for before/after care.

Please let us know if we may assist you in this way by calling Virginia directly or by completing a Financial Aid form located under the “Membership” tab above and submitted it with your Day Camp registration form.
