Camps

1/2 day camp option for parents with a focus on creating fun in a cooperative learning environment that fosters an appreciation of nature. This program involves participation in a wide range of activities which encourage imagination, curiosity, and group interaction and is a collabroation between Carleton College and the Northfield Area Family YMCA. Explore outdoors, animal & bug search, nature hikes, lots of exercise and tons of games, team building, playing with friends, arts and crafts, imagination and adventure opportunities abound in the great outdoors! Outdoor wilderness themes all summer, numerous trips to city and county parks, outdoor pool and library trips every week, curriculum based program including the arts, character development, fitness, science, and service learning.
