PT Wellness Center Lead STAFF Â $9.60-$11.50/HR
This position works part-time hours, Monday-Saturday, hours vary.
Wellness facility hours:Â
Monday – Thursday 5:30 am – 11:00 am, 4:00 – 7:00 pm
Friday 5:30 am – 11:00 amÂ
Saturday 7:00 am – 1:00 pm

Job Duties:
• Provide excellent customer service in a sage, enjoyable and positive atmosphere that promotes member wellness.
• Play a leadership role in providing excellent customer service to members and staff.
• Responsible for the day to day activity in the wellness center.
• Proactively work with members towards positive health and wellness
• Follow established YMCA of the USA health and fitness guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service in a sage, enjoyable and positive atmosphere that promotes member wellness.
• Assist in the implementation of marketing initiatives for membership and all YMCA programs as needed.
• Work closely with the Executive Director to address concerns and improvements for the YMCA wellness center.
• Provide work direction for part time member service staff.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of two years experience in fitness center/personal training
• Must attend YMCA Healthy Lifestyles Principles, YMCA Personal Training Instructor and YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise Certification within six months of hire (classes made available by the YMCA).
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
• Computer knowledge and experience.
• Excellent customer service, sales, problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified or willing to become certified within the first 30 days of employment. (Certification classes available upon employment.)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Availability to work a flexible schedule.
