PT Group Fitness Instructors          STAFF Salary based on experience and specific class offering

Group Fitness hours: 

Monday – Friday 5:45 am – 10:45 am

Monday – Thurs 4:15 pm – 6:45 pm

Saturday 8:45 am – 11:15 am

Job Duties:
• Lead quality group fitness classes
• Conduct energizing, fun, safe, and educational classes .
• Maintain working knowledge of fitness industry and YMCA trends to provide effective information and training to members.
• Keep accurate class attendance records.

Required Qualifications:
• National Certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM) in group fitness instruction or YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise Certification. Required within 6 months.  YMCA will provide available classes.
• YMCA Healthy Lifestyles within 90 days of hire (provided by YMCA).
• Adult CPR/AED certifications (classes made available by the YMCA).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Additional certification in area of expertise; i.e. Les Mills (Body Pump)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience teaching group fitness classes.
